However, you are allowed to have it not before you have gone through the mandatory CNA license verification which requires you to undergo background and health check up. This is your ticket for an exciting future as a CNA.
If you happen to have lost your CNA license you can take the below mentioned route to reach the lost card:
- All rosy till you happen to lose it. What happens after that? You may lose your sleep over it. But don’t panic so much because there is a cure for this problem too. Get in touch with your State’s Nursing Board and find out what needs to be done in such a situation. Request for a replacement card for the one you have lost.
- Follow the instructions as provided by the State Nursing Board to recover your CNA license. You most probably have to pay replacement fee which could cost you around $25 as of April 2011. So, mail your money order and request letter immediately so that the process could begin at the earliest.
- You should mention clearly your name, address contact details, CNA registry number and social security number while writing a letter requesting for replacement of lost CNA registry card to the State Nursing Board.
